The 34-Week Plan
Weeks 26 to 34
Interview season: revision, mocks, applications and offers.
These nine weeks run from 12 April to 13 June 2027. Use this phase for revision, mocks, and live interviews. Keep the week template flexible and let scheduled interviews take priority.
The order of priority
A live interview beats a revision block. A revision block beats a new project idea. Respond to every loop within a day, then fit the prep around it.
Weeks 26 to 34: the interview season
Phase goal: continue the A2Z sheet and revision, review mock feedback, and respond to eligible roles and live interview processes. Outcomes depend on openings and hiring decisions, so keep a next-step plan if a search continues after graduation.
Week 26 · Apr 12 to 18
- DSA: Dynamic programming: longest increasing subsequence, strings, and matrix-chain multiplication.
- Build: Polish: prepare for the portfolio freeze.
- Drill: Finalise the STAR bank with 8 stories.
- Also: Contest #26. Mock #11.
- Read: Mitchell Hashimoto and Armin Ronacher on engineering in the AI era.
- Apply: Respond to every loop.
Week 27 · Apr 19 to 25
- DSA: Remaining dynamic programming, advanced strings, and sieve.
- Build: Audit the README numbers. Final CV with all the one-liners.
- Drill: Use Blind-75 as a diagnostic. Review missed patterns rather than chasing a cutoff score.

- Read: The Sutradhar weekly pick.
- Apply: Follow up on relevant referrals and keep application records current. Confirm interview times promptly.
Week 28 · Apr 26 to May 2
- DSA: Revision using the day-2, day-7, and day-30 deck, plus two module-contest redos.
- Build: Interview-season tweaks only.
- Drill: Record STAR dry-runs.

- Read: India-career picks.
- Apply: OA speed drills.
Week 29 · May 3 to 9
- DSA: Revision and company-tagged practice for relevant roles.
- Drill: Mock hiring-manager rounds, one per week.

- Read: Deeper Last9 and incident.io picks.
- Apply: Live loops come first.
Week 30 · May 10 to 16
- DSA: Redo missed module contests and review weak patterns.
- Drill: 2 timed LLD re-runs.

- Apply: Referral follow-ups on live loops.
Week 31 · May 17 to 23
- DSA: Revision focused on the patterns you miss most.
- Also: Mocks twice this week. Contest #31.
- Apply: Negotiation prep, starting with the fixed-versus-variable sheet.
Week 32 · May 24 to 30
- DSA: Revision and role-specific practice.
- Also: Mocks twice this week. Contest #32.
- Apply: Continue live processes and applications. Compare any offers using role scope, fixed pay, variable pay, location, and benefits.
Week 33 · May 31 to Jun 6
- DSA: Revision.
- Also: Mocks twice this week. Contest #33.
- Apply: Check the fallback plan, the internship conversion lane.
Week 34 · Jun 7 to 13
- DSA: Revision.
- Also: Contest #34. Monthly review.
- Apply: Graduation week. Review the search and write a private retrospective with next steps.
